A judgment against a debtor with “no assets” is worth exactly nothing — and sophisticated debtors know it. Assets are moved to relatives, parked in new companies, shifted across borders or simply denied. Asset tracing is the discipline of finding what is really there and securing it before it disappears, so that enforcement has a target.
We combine legal tools with investigative method: searches of property, corporate and security registers; analysis of the debtor’s corporate structures and related parties; disclosure and information mechanisms available through the courts and execution process; and coordination with licensed investigators and forensic specialists where the trail demands it. What we find, we secure — through precautionary attachment obtained before or alongside proceedings, freezing the asset in place while the claim is decided.
Engage asset tracing early when the debtor has form for evasion, when a large exposure justifies knowing the recovery prospects before you spend on litigation, or when enforcement has stalled against a debtor who is visibly living beyond their declared means. Tracing is often what turns a doubtful claim into a collectable one.
